You want to make money through affiliate marketing online, right? Well, good for you. A global audience within easy reach makes that a sensible ambition. But are you also smart enough to recognize, and determined enough to overcome, the only two things that can stop you succeeding in this business?
It's all very well telling yourself that affiliate marketing is the way you want to go in achieving your monetary goals, but that notion is worthless unless you stop just thinking about it and actually get to the doing. Seems obvious, doesn't it - and it is - yet that's the part that people seem to have most trouble with. There are many out there who like the idea of making a living online but can't bring themselves to actually do anything about it. They dither and dither, or abandon the whole thing.
Maybe it's fear of failure that holds them back, or just a lack of self confidence. Whatever it is, don't be like them. Don't turn your back on the opportunity, and don't wait till tomorrow to get started. When it comes to action plans tomorrow is a poisonous word representing, as it does, that place that's always out of reach, along with the money you could and should have been pulling in had you acted today.

Okay, let's say you've now made a start as an affiliate marketer. It means the main stumbling block has been kicked aside, which is great. But there are still negative vibes to overcome.

Chances are, though, that things will happen more slowly, begin with a trickle, take some time to build. Well, you should be cool with that too because this business is, by nature, a growth thing.
Lots of newcomers, however, can't clear that second barrier, can't cope with the perceived disappointment that comes with not making an immediate bundle. They conquer the curse of inertia to set out on the affiliate path in the first place, but give up if they don't see a million dollars flying into their bank account virtually straight away.
